Carmichael Lynch Relate Hires Edelman's Alison Dunning as Client Services Director

Carmichael Lynch Relate (formerly Spong) has hired Alison Dunning as the agency’s client services director and senior partner. Dunning joins Carmichael Lynch Relate from Edelman New York, where she served as a senior vice president within the Consumer Marketing practice.

“Alison joins Carmichael Lynch Relate after a year of record growth for the agency,” said Carmichael Lynch Relate President Julie Batliner. “She will be an integral piece of the agency’s leadership team, bringing experience leading world-class public relations and integrated marketing campaigns for retail, beauty, consumer tech and CPG clients.”

At Edelman New York, Dunning drove groundbreaking campaigns for well-known consumer brands and clients, including Unilever, Edgewell Personal Care, Microsoft, eBay and more. Her work has been lauded by the industry, winning Gold Sabre Awards, PRSA Silver Anvil Awards of Excellence and Effie Awards, and earning the distinction of a Top 10 Social Media Campaign by AdAge. In addition to working at Edelman New York, Dunning has worked at Target Stores, Kohl’s Department Stores, Waggener Edstrom (now WE) and Exponent. Dunning received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from the University of Minnesota.
